This is what you see after logging in. On the main section of the page you can see the recent activity, and in the middle of this section (or in the left of the page, in the navigation bar) you can find all your groups and memberships. You need to click the "View all groups" or "My groups" link.
This is the list of all your groups: the groups in which you are allowed to manage the membership list.
By clicking on the "My memberships" tab you can see all the groups in which you are a member.
By clicking on a specific group, you will be able to see the group details and add or remove members.

Please, don't bother about groups in the etc folder. These are used only for configuration stuff.

You can add members with the orange button in the top right of the page.
After clicking the Add members button, you can search for a member and add it to the group.
If adding an IDEM user, please note that IDEM is in the process of adding a name.surname account besides the old surname.name one. People can't use the name.surname account yet, so take care to add the surname.name version of the user.
If Grouper cannot find (autocomplete) the user, you need to write its exact username or to click "search for an entity".
Usually default settings are good for you but if you want you can also specify custom privileges while adding an user into a group.

To remove one or more members, click on the checkboxes next to their username and then click the button "Remove selected members" on the top left of the members table.
